Update 18 March 2020: due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, the EAGE Student Fund will pause any travel grant programmes.
Although EAGE makes it possible for students to increase their technical and scientific knowledge at their university (EAGE lectures), many of the student activities includes travelling.
We understand students may lack the financial means to travel. Therefore, travel grants are meant as a contribution towards a student’s travel expenses. In principle, students can only apply for grants if they have an abstract accepted as part of the technical programme of the conference.
Travel grants are also rewarded to student participants of the EAGE Laurie Dake Challenge and winners of the regional EAGE Geo-Quizzes.
